Swissbit CFast™ Memory Cards

Description

Swissbit CFast™ Memory Cards combine the CompactFlash™ (CF) Card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface into a single product. These cards provide rugged and easy replaceable storage for embedded and industrial systems. The CFast memory cards portfolio covers the range from the high-end SLC-based F-600 to the cost and performance-optimized F-50. These cards operate with a low 3.3V power source and support three SATA power management states (active, partial, and slumber). The CFast memory cards feature various capacities from 2GB to 64GB and are characterized by low power consumption and low heat generation.      

The CFast Cards can replace both HDDs and CompactFlash Cards. These cards are available in 36.4mm x 42.8mm x 3.6mm footprint. The applications require small form factors, high endurance, the ability to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures (-40°C to 85°C), and rough environmental conditions.

CFast Adapter

Swissbit CFast Adapter allows attachment of a CFast Card to a standard SATA Host Device. It features a standard SATA data (7-pin) + Power (15-pin) connector, and an integrated PWM Step-Down DC-DC Converter (5.0V to 3.3V).
